How to enable Sound Detection on Mercusys cameras

The Sound Detection feature of Mercusys cameras includes Baby Crying Detection, Glass Break Detection, Dog Barks Detection, and Cat Meows Detection. When Sound Detection is enabled, the Mercusys camera will recognize abnormal sounds, notifying users as needed.

This article introduces how to enable Sound Detection on Mercusys cameras.

Note: Some specific models support all types of Sound Detection. Other Mercusys cameras support Baby Crying Detection only. Check the product specifications to know the detection types.

1. After setting up your Mercusys camera successfully, go to the camera page and then tap Manage to enter the camera page.

Tap the Manage icon to enter the Live view page.

2. Tap the gear icon to enter the camera settings page.

Tap the gear icon to enter at the top right corner to enter the camera settings page.

3. Tap Detection, then scroll down to find Sound Detection.

Note: Different models may support different types of Sound Detection.

Go to the Detection option in the Device Settings Page. Scroll down to find Sound Detection on the Detection page.

4. You can tap a specific Sound Detection, toggle to enable the detection and adjust the sensitivity as desired.

Note: Glass Break Detection, Dog Barks Detection, and Cat Meows Detection are beta versions.
