How to use the Privacy Mode of my Mercusys cameras

Privacy Mode is a smart feature on Mercusys cameras. For example, if you have a camera in your living room and do not want to be monitored or recorded by the camera, then you can enable Privacy Mode on the camera. It will prevent the camera from streaming and recording video and audio.

How to enable and disable the Privacy Mode

Method 1: Enable or disable the Privacy Mode on the camera’s Live View page.

Go to the camera's Live View page and tap the Privacy Mode icon to enable or disable it. And you can also tap ‘Exit Privacy Mode’ to disable the Privacy Mode.

Method 2: Enable or disable the Privacy Mode on the camera’s Device Settings page.

Go to the Device Settings page of the camera on the Mercusys app to enable or disable the Privacy Mode.
